Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for an immediate travel opening. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

Candidates must have 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration, and any state licensing as required. Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of MRI experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions for imaging.
• Position patients for scans with immobilization and safety in mind.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast as directed.
• Evaluate image quality and label sequences correctly.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain patient records.
