Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. Start date is 11/16/2026 and you will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. This travel contract is with a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency providing comprehensive benefits.

Your duties include operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, preparing patients, and administering contrast as needed while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists operate MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
• Position patients and coils on a table for MRI imaging.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high quality, cost effective patient care with a patient-focused approach.
