Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The role requires MRI specialization, state licensure, and BLS certification, with nights on a 12-hour shift. You will work with Radiology teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic images and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology program with MRI specialization.
• Minimum 1 year MRI tech experience.
• Valid Radiology/MRI license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred ARRT or equivalent certification.
• Preferred ARMRIT or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications prior to procedure.
• Educate patients on MRI procedures and address questions.
• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot MRI equipment for proper function.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as ordered.
• Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters for optimal results.
• Document all procedure details in accordance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure accurate imaging.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow infection control policies.
• Follow radiation safety and hospital safety protocols.
