Qualifications

• Two years of regular (20+ hours/week) recent experience as an MRI Technologist and proficiency in MRI duties.
• License in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency in MRI procedures and related protocols.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• Two years of hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols to ensure safety and image quality under supervision.
• Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
• Explain safety procedures, remove hazardous metal items, and monitor patients.
• Orient and train new hires and trainees in MRI techniques.
