Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Joseph, MO. This contract role features 40 hours per week with a 4x10 night shift schedule.

You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with Radiology leadership to deliver high-quality imaging while meeting site protocols. Prior MRI experience, state license, BLS, and strong communication are required. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of regular (20+ hours/week) MRI experience
• Licensed MRI Technologist in required state
• BLS certification
• Proficient in MRI procedures and protocols
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Follow radiology leadership guidance to ensure image quality and patient safety
• Perform patient studies per protocol and adjust scan parameters
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and professionalism
• Train and orient new hires or trainees in MRI technology
• Uphold safety protocols for patients and staff
