Supplemental Health Care is looking for a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chesapeake, Virginia, starting ASAP. In this role, you will perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, and operate MRI equipment while adhering to all safety guidelines. Candidates should have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, and at least 2 years of recent experience. Qualifications

• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration.
• Current state license (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
