Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for an assignment in Everett, Washington. The role is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, consisting of 10-hour daytime shifts. The MRI Tech must have 1 year of experience and appropriate certifications, including ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with state licensing as required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in MRI
• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in MRI, and state licensing when required
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Identify and review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures
• Position patients for MRI scans following safety protocols
• Assist radiologist during procedures
• Start IVs and administer contrast as directed
• Evaluate MRI image quality and label/sequence images
• Operate contrast injectors per protocol
• Follow radiation safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Utilize McKesson PACS system
