Job summary

TMS is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Radiology. The role requires MRI proficiency, patient safety focus, and strong teamwork with radiologists and nurses. The clinician works days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with no on-call responsibilities.

The candidate must have ARRT, TMB, and BLS credentials, 1–2 years MRI experience, and be ready to start ASAP. Gray scrubs are required, and candidates must live more than 50 miles away from the facility.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Texas licensure (TMB) required.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• 1–2 years MRI experience required.
• Recent MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to orders and protocols.
• Verify patient information and clinical history.
• Screen for MRI safety risks and contraindications.
• Prepare patients and explain exam process.
• Position patients to obtain high quality images.
• Operate MRI safely and efficiently.
• Monitor patients and respond to concerns.
• Maintain documentation in HMS EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.
