Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires 2+ years of MRI experience, ARRT/NMTCB certification, and proficiency with Siemens scanners. Day shifts are 12 hours, 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, with on-call and weekend requirements. Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience; 1.5 years may be considered.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens scanners required.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I or teaching hospital experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• IV start experience strongly preferred.
• Cardiac imaging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro, MSK, and abdominal MRI scans with Siemens scanners.
• Specialty exams including breast, enterography, and pacemaker patients.
• No cardiac, prostate, CSF flow studies, or certain extremities tasks.
• ICU patient imaging with MRI-safe ventilation and monitoring.
• Use Epic EMR for documentation.
• Work 3x12 hour days; 36 hours/week; 7:30 AM–7:30 PM.
• Travelers float within the department; weekend/holiday coverage as assigned.
• On-call: 3 weekday day shifts per month and 1 weekend every 12 weeks.
