Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, for a 13-week contract.

Requirements include graduation from a two-year Radiologic Technology program, state registration, and ARRT registry. Prior MRI experience is preferred, especially in critical care settings. Benefits include housing options, health insurance, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Ensure patient safety around MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils for scans and manage contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
