Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist for a travel assignment in Arcata, California. The position runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and two 12-hour day shifts, offering travel-friendly compensation and benefits.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging, ensure safety, and support physicians with high-quality scans. Requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and any state licensing as required.

Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT with registration.
• State licensing as required by the location.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and acquire quality images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulations.
