Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. You will work a 12-hour shift on a 13-week travel contract, performing MRI duties and ensuring patient safety during scans.

The role requires graduation from a two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, and 18 months MRI experience preferred. Travel benefits and weekly pay are offered by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to aid in diagnosis.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils for scans and adjust setups as needed.
• Inject contrast media as required for procedures.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality patient care in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Maintain a safe and supportive work environment for staff and customers.
