Job summary

Focus Staff is actively seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Olympia Fields, Illinois. The position requires 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, and a travel employment type with potential extension.

The role offers a dynamic clinical environment across radiology teams during a focused contract. The MRI Technologist will operate imaging equipment, follow safety protocols, and support patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI experience (20+ hrs/week).
• Current state license as MRI Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Hospital experience; EP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocol and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare patients, position coils.
• Use imaging software to select scan sequences.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Train new MRI technologists and students.
