Qualified candidates have 2+ years of MRI experience, ARRT/ARMRIT/CNMT/ARDMS(registry) options, BLS, and PA regulatory compliance. This travel position offers diverse facility exposure and supportive staffing resources.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in MRI imaging required.
• ARRT, ARMRIT, CNMT or ARDMS registry preferred.
• MR registry must be obtained within 18 months of the primary registry acquisition or within 12 months of hiring.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Compliance with PA Acts 31, 33, 34, and 73.

Responsibilities

• Maintain MR safety and clinical competency while providing patient care.
• Perform imaging procedures and process imaging data.
• Conduct patient assessments and review history before exams.
• Use two patient identifiers and universal protocols for patient identification.
• Document patient history electronically as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate fears and obtain cooperation.
• Collaborate within the department and with other departments.
• Ensure exams are properly coded and tracked with updated patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to system-wide competencies.
