Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers in Riverhead, NY is seeking an experienced MRI Tech for a 13-week travel assignment with Jackson HealthPros. You will interpret physician instructions, position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.

Shift 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, every other weekend and holidays. Requires ARRT certification, MRI advanced level, NY license, BLS, and 2 years of MRI experience; EDGE 1.5 Artist experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License
• NYS Injection/IV Certification
• R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT)

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician’s scanning instructions and prepare patients for MRI procedures
• Position patients for MRI procedures and operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images
