Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The position spans 17 weeks, with 40 hours per week, evenings shift, starting 11/09/2026. Travel and housing support are provided, with credentialing covered.

Requirements include completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registry, and state radiology registration; 18 months MRI experience preferred, ideally in critical care settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI unit.
• Position patients and coils on the table for scanning.
• Inject contrast media as required and set technical parameters.
• Observe image data and recognize normal vs abnormal findings.
• Respond to life threatening situations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner and maintain a safe environment.
