Qualifications

Current Illinois RN license required.
CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Ability to work in a hospital-based travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations across appropriate patient populations, following physician orders and departmental protocols.
Position patients and select coils, sequences, and imaging parameters to obtain diagnostic MRI images.
Screen for contraindications and safety hazards, ensure patient comfort and monitor during exam.
Administer contrast as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions per policy.
Maintain documentation in RIS/PACS and verify orders and labeling.
Adhere to infection control and MRI safety procedures; participate in on-call rotation (~1 week every 6 weeks).
