PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a Midland, Texas assignment. The role offers a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week and evenings shifts (8 hours).

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and active state licensure; Siemens MRI experience and Cerner charting are preferred. Local radius is 50 miles with travel-only designation.

Qualifications

• Travel experience required per requisition comments.

• BLS certification required.
• Siemens MRI experience strongly preferred.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Active state license required before start (pending license accepted at submission).

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI scans across brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Manage MR angiography (MRA) and venography (MRV) imaging.
• Prepare and administer contrast with appropriate safety protocols.
• Coordinate on-call coverage as required (every other weekend, Fri–Mon).
• Adhere to department protocols for acute care, outpatient, and pediatric patients.

MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Assignment Details

• Specialty: MRI Technologist
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Call Requirements: Every other weekend, Friday after shift through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Local Radius: 50 miles – No local candidates accepted
• Holiday Coverage: Some holidays required
• Daily Census: Approximately 50 patients
• MRI Rooms: 5
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Previous travel experience required per requisition comments
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted
• BLS certification
• Siemens MRI experience strongly preferred

• Brain, spine, abdominal, pelvic, and musculoskeletal MRI
• MR angiography (MRA) and venography (MRV)
• MRCP procedures
• Head, neck, and extremity imaging
• Contrast preparation and administration
• Peripheral IV placement
• MRI imaging protocols and post-processing
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Experience with acute care, outpatient, and pediatric populations
