Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift MRI Technologist with ER experience and at least 1 year of MRI experience for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI Tech role within the Radiology department
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on set consecutive nights
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
• BLS and ARRT (MR) certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable; compact license must be in hand at submission
• ER experience required
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis, abdominal MRA, female and male pelvis imaging
• Community hospital and adult acute/outpatient care experience preferred
• Skilled in head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI procedures
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• MR cardiac imaging with and without contrast experience
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Perform MRI and X-ray imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions and patient populations
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the region
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
