Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role requires strong MRI expertise, two years of recent hospital experience, and a proven commitment to patient safety.

Shifts are 4x10 hours, with travel responsibilities and licensing reimbursement opportunities. The position offers benefits such as health insurance coverage, 401K matching, and licensing reimbursement as part of our travel staffing across all 50 states.

Qualifications

• Have two years of regular (20 hours or more per week) continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of an MRI Technologist II.
• License in the required state.
• BLS certification.
• Must be proficient in MRI and have knowledge of the protocols for complex MRI procedures.
• Effective oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operates MRI equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Performs studies according to protocol, including positioning coils near the area of interest.
• Ensures safety protocols for patients and staff are followed during imaging procedures.
• Interacts with patients to explain procedures and address concerns with tact and professionalism.
• Trains new hires and students in MRI techniques.
