Job summary

MRI Technologist – Radiology in Boston, Massachusetts. This travel assignment begins 10/12/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week with 12-hour shifts.

Weekly pay ranges from $584 to $610. Assignment is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

You will perform MRI examinations, prepare patients, operate MRI scanners, and ensure safety and proper documentation throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (Radiologic Technology) is required.
• MRI certification or ARRT MRI eligibility strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures and operate related equipment.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
• Eligible to work in the United States and in the Boston, MA area.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and approved protocols.
• Prepare patients, position them properly, screen for contraindications, and explain procedures.
• Operate MRI scanners, select sequences, adjust parameters for image quality.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort; manage contrast administration per protocol.
• Label, process, and transfer images to PACS; document procedures accurately.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and quality assurance; assist equipment checks.
