Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• MRI unit with 1 GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner and 1 table
• 1:1 patient ratios
• EMR system is Meditech
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• BLS and ARRT certification required (license required if applicable)
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Must be able to work independently
• Critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability required

Additional Information

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures without the use of X-rays
• Scrub color requirement is all black
• Facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Facility has received a 5-star recipient rating for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
