Job summary

Health Saviours is seeking a Travel Medical Lab Scientist Supervisor for a 13-week assignment in Longview, Texas. The role includes supervising transfusion services/blood bank operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating day-to-day activities during a 40-hour work week on day shifts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, 5 years of MLS experience, and MLS certification with AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in clinical laboratory science or medical technology required.
• 5 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• 5 years of full-time primary experience in the specific section of responsibility.
• MLS certification from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations under the Laboratory Director/Manager.
• Develop and implement procedures, instrumentation, and quality control.
• Maintain policies and procedures meeting regulatory standards.
• Conduct personnel performance reviews and develop competencies.
