Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking Experienced Foremen for our Millwrights/Welders/Fabricators crews on a nationwide travel assignment with some local work. Competitive pay, benefits and per diem are offered.

Responsibilities include following project management instructions, ensuring safety standards, leading crews, welding and fabrication for plant equipment, reading schematics, and coordinating on-site tasks across multiple locations. Must be able to travel weekly and work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to travel weekly to various locations.
• Experience in industrial metal fabrication preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and training.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Project Managers and Management team.
• Maintain and enforce all safety standards.
• Move, secure, install, build, load and/or unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes and crushers
• Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
• Read schematics, blueprints and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs if needed
• Stick Weld and use Oxy/Acet torches safely and efficiently
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Direct on Cleaning/preparing job sites
• Assist crew member in their duties when needed/ when manpower requires.
• Properly, efficiently and safely apply oils and greases according to specification of equipment/job
• Perform various physical duties assigned
