Job summary

The Armor Group seeks a skilled Travel Millwright to fabricate, assemble, and install precision components and structural systems across the country and internationally. Expect 40% travel with up to 30 days away at a time, and 12+ hour days when on the road, plus time in our Mason facility for welding and fabrication.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of fabrication experience, read blueprints, and can work independently while maintaining safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Valid passport or ability to obtain; willing to travel 40% of the year.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install precision components and structural systems.
• Set up, lay out, fit, and tack weld precision frame weldments and brackets.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, assembly drawings, and weld symbols.
• Travel to customer locations to assist with installations, repairs, and equipment setup as required.
• Maintain safety, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction on all projects.
