Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. Travel status and agency staffing structure are emphasized to support top healthcare facilities.

Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of MICU/acute care experience are required, with client facility requirements to be determined. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are offered through MedPro.

Active RN license.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS certifications.
18 months of recent MICU/acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and family education.
Ensure life support equipment functions properly.
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
Administer medications, IVs, and catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures as necessary for prompt condition changes.
Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
