Qualifications

  • Comfort with titratable drips and high-acuity care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill ICU patients.
  • Monitor status, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes.
  • Titrate vasoactive medications per orders.
  • Manage ventilated patients and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
  • Perform and interpret EKG rhythm strips and support cardiac monitoring.
  • Collaborate with intensivists, charge RNs, and support staff.
  • Float to stepdown or general units as needed.
  • Maintain EPIC documentation and follow unit protocols.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with arterial lines, central lines, ventilated patients, and vasopressor titration
  • Comfortable managing titratable drips and high-acuity critical care patients
  • Ability to work in a drug-free campus environment and complete required screening
  • BSN not required
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry, and respond quickly to changes in condition
  • Titrate vasoactive and cardioactive medications according to orders and patient needs
  • Manage ventilated patients and assist with respiratory equipment troubleshooting
  • Perform and interpret EKG rhythm strips and support complex cardiac monitoring
  • Collaborate with the care team, including intensivists, charge RNs, and support staff
  • Float to stepdown or general medical units when needed and safely adjust assignment acuity
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit-specific protocols
