Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography specialist for a travel assignment in Spokane, WA. This Ultrasound Technologist role requires 1 year of experience, ARDMS certification, BLS, and state licensing where required.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure image quality, and assist physicians with interpretation. The assignment runs 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, focusing on patient education, accurate reporting, and using McKesson

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS RDMS OB/GYN certification required.
• BLS certification and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed.
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities that require immediate attention to medical staff.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
