Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography assignment in Kirkland, Washington. This 13-week travel position offers 40 hours per week, days shift, with 8-hour shifts. US Tech responsibilities include patient education, imaging and assisting Radiologists with procedures, and reporting findings.

Required: 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing where required. Travel role with per diem stipend and benefits package available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of ultrasound experience required.
• BLS and ARDMS National Certification required; state licensing where applicable.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and know anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and family about procedures.
• Operate sonographic equipment to observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sonography equipment; report failures.
• Perform scans and write reports based on results.
• Maintain patient records and familiarity with MCPACS/McKesson PACS.
