A leading construction firm is seeking a Senior Superintendent responsible for managing construction projects' field coordination, quality control, and supervision. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in commercial projects, preferably in Life Science construction, with strong communication and organizational skills. Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Experience in commercial and Life Science construction is preferred.
• Previous supervisory roles as General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the project schedule and maintain accurate project status reports.
• Ensure timely field coordination, quality control, and supervision of subcontracted work.
• Review project progress regularly with Project Manager and client representatives.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance by craftsmen and others.
• Directs subcontractor activities on pharmaceutical projects.
• Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment needs and coordinates with supervision.
• Implements field policies and procedures per construction management.
• Prepares reports and forecasts and informs supervision of progress.
• Ensures safety and safe operation of tools and equipment in the field.

Job description

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for the timely and cost effectivefield coordination, quality control andday-to-daysupervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs sub contractoractivities withinpharmaprojects
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management
• Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Commercial and Life Science construction experience is preferred.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and team work skills are required
