ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry (Stepdown Unit)

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will work with a variety of cardiac patients and will be expected to deliver safe and effective care according to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, including those post-operative lung surgeries, respiratory failure, and those with chest tubes or pacemakers.
• Titrate drips as needed, including but not limited to Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, and Dopamine.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure accurate interpretation of telemetry strips using Phillips monitors.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed and assess patient responses.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in titrating IV medications and managing telemetry monitors is essential.
• Previous experience in a Cardiac/Telemetry unit preferred.
