Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Medical Technologist for a contract in Marquette, Michigan. The assignment runs 13 weeks and requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts. Start date is 11/09/2026 and the position offers travel housing options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Active certification through ASCP, AMT, HEW or AAB required
Eighteen months of Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician experience required
A state license may be required
Basic grasp of scientific laboratory procedures and reporting test results

Responsibilities

Test blood and bodily fluids using laboratory equipment
Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites
Measure drug levels and nutrient contents in blood
Operate cell counters, microscopes and related equipment
Follow lab protocols for analysis, interpretation and delivery of results

Skills

ASCP certification

Medical Laboratory experience

State license (may be required)
