Qualifications

• Active RI or compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry and cardiac care experience.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit in a hospital setting.
• Care for cardiac, post-cath, and telemetry patient populations.
• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Weekend shifts required, every other Friday and Saturday night.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• First-time travelers are accepted; orientation and hospital support provided.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float position covering Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU with a focus on cardiac care and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting, floating between Med/Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit
• Cares for cardiac, post-cath, and telemetry patient populations
• Expected to work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekend shifts required, specifically every other Friday and Saturday night
• 13-week contract assignment
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Responsible for comprehensive nursing care of cardiac and telemetry patients
• Must provide care across multiple units based on staffing needs
• Current ACLS certification must be demonstrated as used in prior roles
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Orientation and support are provided by the hospital team
