American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for Med/Surg Telemetry in Greenfield, MA. The role requires an MA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience, with Cerner EMR experience preferred.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Travel and licensure reimbursements, plus day-one benefits, are included.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner CIS EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a general medical/surgical/telemetry unit within a community hospital setting.
• Patient population includes cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, withdrawal, GI, and infectious disease cases.
• Unit size is 43 beds with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 5 to 6:1.
• Cases include chest pain rule out, various postop patients, pneumonia, CHF, withdrawal, cellulitis, COVID, flu, and more.
• 12-hour night shifts.
• No on-call responsibility.
• Uses Cerner CIS charting system.
• Join a team-oriented, patient-centered staff.
• Responsibilities include monitoring telemetry, managing diverse medical/surgical conditions, and post-op care.
• No on-call required for this role.
