American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry on the night shift in Show Low, AZ. The role requires an active AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years in Med Surg/Telemetry with strong neuro/cardiac skills.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts. Allscripts Sunrise EMR is used; travel reimbursements and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifikationen

• Active AZ or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Tele experience.
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.
• Strong neuro and cardiac nursing skills required.
• Experience with the Allscripts Sunrise EMR preferred.
• PALS certification preferred but not required.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Tele position on a night shift requiring strong neuro and cardiac skills and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting on a 24-bed Med Surg unit with telemetry capability
• Adult patient population with no pediatric assignments for travelers
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights, acuity based
• Floating required to all Med Surg units and ICU for overflow patients
• 12-hour night shifts
• Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR system
• Work collaboratively with tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs as part of the support team
• Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care
• Hospitalist, respiratory therapist, and pharmacy support available 24/7
• Scrub attire may be any color except all black; scrubs are not provided
