Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in Vermont this position involves providing care on an adaptive acuity unit, with occasional PCU (Progressive Care Unit) responsibilities. The role requires managing patient care with a focus on detailed patient monitoring, including insulin, emolol, and sodium drips, within a hospital setting.

Job Details:

• Position Description: This is an adaptive acuity unit; at times, travelers will be expected to provide PCU care (3:1 ratio). Drip experience is mandatory and includes insulin, emolol, and sodium drips. CHARGE responsibility is required for this position.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: Vermont RN License or Compact licensure; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Experience Requirements: 2+ years of current medical-surgical and telemetry experience needed; charge experience is mandatory; drip experience is required; ICU experience is preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with progressive care unit, telemetry, and medical-surgical nursing; willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope is strongly required.
• Additional Information: Must have own vehicle; all scheduling requests must be made at submission. RTO requests are limited; specific holiday coverage is required. All profile documentation and references must be current and uploaded.
