Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shift requiring a NM or compact RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical Telemetry combination unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient population includes med/surg and telemetry cases
• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Night shift assignment with 12-hour shifts
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Team-based environment with support staff
• May be required to follow hospital dress code or scrub requirements

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
