Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions has a Travel RN opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana for Medical Surgical/Telemetry patients. Night shift, 7 PM–7 AM, 13‑week assignment with 72 hours biweekly guaranteed. Start ASAP; must obtain ACLS/BLS, Cerner EMR, and hospital license to practice.

The candidate will interpret telemetry, anchor and manage NG tubes, perform IV and Foley insertions, and handle drains including colostomy care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (US)
• ACLS, BLS required
• 2 years' experience in med-surg/telemetry
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and manage NG tubes, IVs, and Foley catheters.
• Preferred: continuous bladder irrigation, chest tubes, wound vacs

Responsibilities

• Care for medical/surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Interpret telemetry strips and manage NG tubes, IV and Foley insertion.
• Manage drains and colostomy as needed.
• Maintain organization and time management in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

RN IN Licensure

ACLS, BLS required

2 years' experience required

Required skill set; Able to interpret telemetry strips, anchor and manage NG tubes, IV and foley insertion, drain management, and colostomy management.

Preferred skill set: Managing continuous bladder irrigation, chest tubes, and wound vacs

EMR: Cerner

Scope of role: Will care for medical/surgical patients who also may require telemetry monitoring. Needs organizational and time management skills. Must demonstrate compassion and competency while working in a fast paced environment.
