Job details: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, float across Med/Surg units and sister facilities; travel type assignment.

Formación

• 3+ years of RN experience and 2+ years in Med/Surg.
• 1 travel contract strongly preferred.
• WI RN license, BLS and NIHSS required.

• Care for Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Renal, CIWA, CHF, COPD, Stroke, Ortho and related cases.

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Appleton, Wisconsin.

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

UNIT: CLINICAL RESOURCE TEAM

Minimum Experience Required: 3+ years experience as an RN & 2+ years M/S Experience & 1 travel contract (strongly preferred). Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
**This person will be part of the Clinical Resource Team (CRT) - must be comfortable floating between units and other facilities**

Required certifications: WI RN License, AHA BLS & NIHSS (Required). AHA ACLS (preferred)

Charting Experience: EPIC within the last year REQUIRED

Floating: Will float throughout all Med/Surg units & Sister Facilities as needed
**Traveler will only take patients within their skillset**

Primary Cases across facilities: Medical/Surgical, General Surgical, Oncology, Renal, CIWA, CHF, COPD, Stroke, Surgical Trauma & Ortho, DKA, Experience with Pre-post Cath & post pacemaker & TR Bands strongly preferred; Pediatric patients (rare)
**Assignment to be based upon skillset, to be expected to fill staffing needs, a needed**

Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 ratio (Days & Nights for new staffing model), RN's paired with a support staff (LPN/CNA) based on acuity.
