Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Iron River, Michigan. The role requires a Med Surg RN with an active license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent acute care Med/Surg experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week and nights. As a Travel RN with MedPro, you’ll receive weekly pay, housing options, health and life insurance, travel reimbursement, and 401(k)

• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.

Duties Responsibilities

Med‑Surg Nurses (RN) provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; they also attend to those who are being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness. Due to the broad range of medical conditions Med/Surg Nurses will encounter, they must be well‑versed in a large variety of health conditions.
