Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a PA or compact RN license, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays, with no RTO between Christmas and New Year's
• Will float to all Med/Surg floors and potentially to rehab
• May care for COVID patients
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Candidates must complete modules prior to start, which take approximately 5-6 hours
• Work environment is tobacco and fragrance free
• Must be able to care for both Med/Surg and rehab patients as needed
• Expected to follow hospital policies regarding patient care and safety
• A clinical assessment will be conducted prior to acceptance
• RTO must not exceed 7 days for the contract duration

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• No adverse license actions permitted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel rates
