Job Summary

Medical Surgical nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. This role involves coordinating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, as well as administering medications, monitoring patient status, and supporting postoperative recovery. The position requires flexibility and responsiveness to a variety of patient needs within a hospital setting.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state RN license, ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association) certifications attached to submission, at least 2 years recent Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) RN experience in a hospital setting. Candidates may occasionally care for pediatric/adolescent patients.
Additional Information: Candidates might need to float between the Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census. The SageWest coversheet must be attached to the submission. Submittals without the specified template will be rejected.
