Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an unspecified healthcare facility. The role involves providing medical-surgical level care to adult patients, with potential to float to other units such as surgical pediatrics or transitional care. This position requires flexibility in shift length and days, with a typical schedule of 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, scheduled for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: State of Hawaii nursing license, 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical or higher level of care, BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment scheduled on the following Friday.
  • General duties include RN med/surg level care of patients 18 and over, utilizing equipment such as Meditech electronic medical record, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.
  • The department's dress code is professional nursing attire with no specified scrub color, and closed-toe shoes.
  • Orientation is included in the first week of employment.
  • No holiday RTO requests are accepted.
