American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on a general surgery unit caring for renal and general medical patients, requiring a TN or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 21-bed general surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes renal medical patients (peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis) and general medical patients aged 18 and older
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6
• Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15
• Floating may be required to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length with potential for extension
• All required documentation must be provided for consideration, including references and license verifications
• Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced local rate based on facility-recognized radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
