Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tallahassee, FL. You will work 40 hours per week with 10-hour night shifts, and there is potential to extend the contract.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS certification, have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in sciences, and current BLS certification. Two years of relevant experience is preferred, with SHC providing competitive pay and benefits for travelers.

Qualifications:

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

General Diagnostic, Ultrasound/Sonographer Sonographer Contract Details:

• $1,718 - $1,895 per week*

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis


• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems


• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam


• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility
