Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a 9-week assignment in Pontiac, Michigan. The role involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, supporting lab operations during a lab information system implementation at McLaren.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years lab experience, ASCP and BLS certifications, and travel experience. Local travelers may receive a reduced travel rate; pay details are subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of laboratory experience.
• Blood bank experience required.
• ASCP certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position created to provide lab coverage during implementation of a new lab information system at McLaren.
• Responsible for supporting lab operations while system is tested and staff is trained.
• Must adhere to McLaren-specific policies regarding billable hours, overtime/holiday/callback rates, extension discounts, and local traveler pay adjustments.
• Local travelers (within 35 miles) receive a reduced travel rate.
