Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a travel assignment in Winchester, KY. The RN will perform bedside care, administer medications, and support discharge planning in a fast-paced Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS, and are willing to travel. This travel role requires 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour workweek, with tax-free stipends to be determined by TotalMed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Travel position with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for diverse Med/Surg patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
