The role requires 18+ months Med/Surg and telemetry experience, NIHSS, ACLS/BLS, and Proton patient care across stroke and chest pain cases. Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris pumps are used on this unit.
Qualifications
- 18 months Med/Surg experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- RN licensed to practice in North Carolina or eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide Med/Surg/Telemetry care for stroke and chest pain patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
- Administer cardiac drips and responsible medications as ordered.
