American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a night shift position in Ketchum, Idaho. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule, and a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• Active Idaho or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience, including pediatrics and ortho post-op/totals.
• Ability to titrate and administer common drips such as Heparin and cardiac medications.
• Experience with Epic EMR documentation required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care CAH on a 19-bed Med/Surg unit.
• Care for pediatric and adult Med/Surg patients with diverse conditions.
• Maintain 1:5 RN-to-patient ratio with support from team.
• Titrate drips and initiate pressors for critical patients as needed.
• Read telemetry data with support from techs for monitoring.
