MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Evansville, Indiana. The role requires an active RN license and 18 months of recent acute care Med-Surg experience, with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The travel RN will provide bedside nursing care, administer medications, and document care with physicians and staff across units.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• Travel assignment of 13 weeks in Med-Surg/Telemetry

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care
• Assess changes in patient health and perform treatments
• Administer medications
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members
